2003 saw the completion of the Edziza Tunnel Project. For the
technical at heart, track is laid on a 1x4 inch plank and
screwed down. |
| It is then soldered together to get absolute electrical
continuity. The joints at each end are connected using rail clamps,
so the section can be lifted should the need arise. |

Everything
is screwed in place and then the plywood and fence were
sealed using plastic to protect from rot. |
| Dirt
was back-filled on top and some shade-loving plants put in.
Cut granite slabs were placed in front to give the "mountain"
effect. |
