Welcome to Skeena Pacific Railway,
a major link in the North American rail system.

The S.P.R. moves oil, coal, timber, containerised shipments and the necessities of life
between Alaska, Northwest Canada and the rest of  North America.

Skeena Pacific Railway was chartered in British Columbia in 1876 as the Pacific, Northern and Omenica Railroad,
it
owns rights of way, port and other transportation facilities in British Columbia, Canada
and has track rights in other jurisdictions across North America.

Skeena Pacific Railway is privately held as a wholly-owned, 1/29th scale subsidiary
of

Skeena Pacific Consolidated
a Gilham Family Enterprise.

Well, that's the story and I'm sticking to it!

Though it started out in 1/87th scale (HO), it does have a history based on 1:1 scale-fact and a future, in our garden,
on Gauge One tracks.

This website tells the story of Skeena Pacific Railway in two different dimensions.

Skeena Pacific Railway
 - A History in North America
(also available as a pdf file)
is the story of the railway from its inception in 1876.

Skeena Pacific Railway
- Garden
Edition

is the pictorial story of our garden rails

This website is being maintained for historic and, hopefully,
reference to assist new garden railway modellers.
As such, I must apologise to those who have come to this site expecting more, new information.

The trains no longer run, as it was dissassembled with a move of our residence, but Youtube seems to have taken over.
Perhaps I can mollify your distress by pointing you to my YouTube Page
which has a number of newer (and older) videos of

 Skeena Pacific Railway
.

 Thank you for your patience.
